Follow the on-screen instructions. When prompted with "Will you specify the DeviceURI?", select: - **For USB Users**: Choose `N` (No) - **For Network Users**: Choose `Y` (Yes) and provide the DeviceURI number The installation process may take some time. Wait until it completes. **Optional** If the automatic installer does not work, it is possible to manually set the printer to a fixed IP address with the following commands: ```bash # For models compatible with brsaneconfig4 brsaneconfig4 -a name=DCP-L2520DW model=DCP-L2520DW ip=192.168.1.100 # For models compatible with brsaneconfig3 brsaneconfig3 -a name=MFC-9010CN model=MFC-9010CN ip=192.168.1.100 ``` **Note**: Use brsaneconfig4 or brsaneconfig3 depending on the model of your Brother printer/scanner. Refer to the documentation to determine compatibility.
